The Night Out That Turned Into a Rough Morning

It started innocently enough...“Just one drink, no appetizers, no dessert.” We were paying for a babysitter, afterall. In this economy? Can you imagine?

Turns out, we had a lot more in common with these new friends than expected. She's an architect with impeccable style and he's in finance. They were chic. Sophisticated. The kind of people I wanted to aspirationally observe. We were out of our league, but we seemed to be holding our own since they ordered round two. With a reckless abandon, we ordered a dessert to share. One plate. 4 spoons. We were in.

Then the playlist got really good. This particular restaurant had an active after-hours scene that begged you to shimmy in your seat. I'll have you know, I'm an excellent seat-shimmy-er.

Then I heard music to my ears, “We should definitely go somewhere after this.”

And suddenly it’s 1:47 a.m., I'm laughing at a joke that stopped being funny approximately 45 minutes ago, and my phone is sitting at 8% battery.

Classic.

The night itself? Incredible.

The morning? Much less incredible.

I woke up, stared at the ceiling, and immediately began negotiating with the universe. The kids were up so I needed to be up, too.

Water sounded like a five-star meal. Coffee sounded like a medical necessity. And the idea of ever drinking alcohol again seemed completely absurd.

Until Friday. When they asked us to join them to watch an indie band that we could only hope to get tickets to.

Despite what my 7:00 a.m. self might've said, I'm definitely going out again. And why shouldn't I? It makes me feel like a person! Turns out, having friends is really important to me.

Maybe the problem isn't the party

I love the social side of drinking. Dinner with friends. Concerts. Weddings. Vacations. Rooftop drinks. Game nights. Celebrations. That random Tuesday that somehow became a Wednesday morning problem. Could I go without alcohol? Of course. That's always an option. But, I like it, damn it. I want to responsibly enjoy a few drinks when I want to.

My goal isn't to eliminate my enjoyment. It's to be a little more intentional about how I approach it.

That means the boring-but-important stuff still matters: eat before drinking, pace myself, hydrate, know my limits, and always have a supplement handy that can help replace what alcohol depletes and protect my liver.

And that's why I created BIPZ.

BIPZ Baby!

BIPZ is a pre-alcohol gummy designed for the before part of the night.

Not the morning-after emergency.

Not a magical “undo” button.

Before you start drinking alcohol, you take 2 BIPZ as directed and make it part of your drinking alcohol routine.

Think of it like the playlist before the party, the reservation before dinner, or charging your phone before leaving the house.

It's preparation. It's self-care. It's a good time.

BIPZ's formula includes ingredients such as DHM, prickly pear berry, ginger, thiamine, schisandra, and other vitamins that have attracted interest from researchers studying alcohol-related effects and liver biology.

The science is promising. Of course, like most supplements, clinical trials are tough to come by. The evidence is clear. For centuries these ingredients have been used around the world to protect the liver and help with the bummers of drinking alcohol. In our surveys through testing and formulation, people felt a lot better the next morning. Not perfect, but well enough to take on the day!

So, while I haven't found the magic bullet to make it feel like last night never happened (no one has), BIPZ pre-alcohol gummies have changed the way we enjoy a great time. Cheers to better mornings!

Your future self will thank you

The best night out isn't necessarily the one where you drink the most. It's the one you actually remember.

So eat something. Drink some water. Know when you've had enough.

And if BIPZ pre-alcohol gummies are part of your routine, take 2 tasty gummies before you start drinking. Because tomorrow-you has things to do, and they can't be horizontal on the couch all day.

BIPZ: Drink smarter. Eat gummies.

Our founder, Ashley, started a craft spirits brand in Colorado. She loves how alcohol brings people together, but hates the effect of drinking on her body. So, she teamed up with a lab to build something better: a gummy formulated with DHM, B vitamins, and botanicals designed to support liver function and help your body process your favorite drinks. Created by someone who drinks like you. Backed by someone who knows the science.
